From a new member to a club dive.
Members use their own free DiveHive account. The club adds what clubs need on top.
- Joined
By invite link or an approved request. Each member gets a type and a valid-until date.
- Proposed
Any member suggests a club dive. Officers approve it and assign a qualified leader.
- Booked
Seats on a shop's boat are held for the club. Members sign up and borrow club gear.
- Logged
The shop's guide logs the dive, and every member gets a verified log in their own logbook.
Roster and dues
Who is a member, and who has paid.
Full, student, family and honorary members, each with a valid-until date. Mark dues as paid when they come in; the money itself stays with the club, outside DiveHive. Officers manage the roster.
- Renewal reminders. Members hear before their membership runs out.
- Members bring their profile. Certifications and logbook come with their diver account.
- School clubs. A teacher or staff member is always an officer, and minors join through a guardian.

Dues are marked paid here. The money stays with the club.
Club dives
No club dive without a qualified leader.
Members propose dives, officers approve them. A club dive cannot be published until a member with the right qualification leads it. If an officer overrides that, the override is logged with their name.
- Checked qualifications. The leader's ratings come from their own profile.
- Members told once. A published dive reaches members as one message, not a chat thread.
- Overrides on record. Who, when and why, in the club's log.
Seats and gear
Seats on a shop's boat. Gear from the club box.
A partner shop holds a block of seats on its trip for the club. Members fill them, and unused seats go back to the shop 48 hours before departure. Club gear is lent out with an officer's approval.
- Fair to the shop. Unfilled seats return in time to be sold.
- Club gear. Who has the club's regulators, and until when.
- Each diver signs. The shop's waiver and medical, from their own account.
Seat block · 8
7 taken, 1 open. Open seats return to the shop on Thursday, 07:00.

Questions clubs ask.
More in the FAQ, or write to hello@divehive.app.
What does it cost?
Nothing up to 100 members. Above that, one flat fee for the club: $16 a month billed yearly, or $19 monthly, before tax.
Does DiveHive collect our dues?
No. You mark dues as paid in the roster; the money goes to the club the way it always has.
Do members need a DiveHive account?
Yes, a free diver account. It carries their certifications and logbook, and works at every DiveHive shop too.
Can school clubs use it?
Yes. A teacher or staff member must be an officer, and members under 18 join through a guardian, with social features with strangers switched off.
Can a shop see our member list?
No. A shop sees the divers booked into its seats, nothing else of the club.
Are there ads on the news board?
No. The news board, events and classifieds carry no ads and no paid placement.
