Included in every edition

Guests pay you. We take 0%.

Deposits, payment links and refunds go straight into your own merchant account, through the payment provider you choose. Cash-up, clearly labelled receipts and accounting sync come with it.

From deposit to a closed day.

The money follows the booking. Every payment, refund and balance sits on the booking it belongs to.

  1. Deposit

Taken when the guest books, by the rule you set for the activity. A fixed amount or a share of the price.

  2. Balance

Paid from a link before the trip, or at the counter on the day: card, wallet, bank transfer or cash.

  3. Refund

If plans change, your cancellation rule works out the amount. You confirm it, the provider sends it back.

  4. Closed

At the end of the day, cash-up per method, expenses in, and the day synced to your accounting.

Deposits and links

The deposit is in before the boat is full.

Set a deposit per activity and DiveHive asks for it at booking. The balance gets its own link, or waits for the counter. Everything paid is on the booking, so nobody asks the guest twice.

  • Your rule, per activity. A share or a fixed amount for fun dives, courses, snorkel trips or stays.
  • Payment links. For a balance, a group or a phone booking. The guest needs no account.
  • Methods guests know. Whatever your provider offers in your country: wallets, QR, cards, bank transfer.

Refunds and rules

Cancellation rules that do the maths.

Write your cancellation policy once per activity. When a guest cancels, DiveHive shows what the rule gives back. You confirm or change the amount, and the refund goes out through your provider.

  • Move instead of refund. Offer another day and keep the payment on the booking.
  • Weather stays your call. Storm flags never cancel a trip on their own. When you cancel, you choose what guests get back.
  • Between you and the guest. Refunds and disputes run through your provider, not through us.

Receipts and cash-up

Close the day before the sun sets.

Card, wallet and transfer payments are already counted. Count the cash drawer, add the fuel and the ice, and the day is closed. Every guest gets a receipt that says exactly what it is.

  • Honest receipts. Clearly marked as not an official receipt or tax invoice. Your official invoicing stays where it is.
  • Cash-up per method. Expected against counted, with the difference shown, never hidden.
  • Expenses on the day. Fuel, ice and tank fills, entered by whoever paid them.

Accounting sync

Your accountant gets the day, not a shoebox.

Each closed day goes to Xero or QuickBooks with its payments, refunds and expenses, mapped to your own accounts. No accounting tool? Export a CSV in your country's date and number format.

  • One sync per day. After the cash-up, so the books only see a day that adds up.
  • Your chart of accounts. Dives, courses, rentals and fuel go where your accountant wants them.
  • No bookkeeping in here. DiveHive hands over clean days. Your books and official invoices stay in your accounting.

Your money, your account.

0%, on every payment.

DiveHive takes nothing from deposits, balances or the counter. You pay a flat plan per location, and that is all.

We never hold your money.

Guests pay into your own merchant account. Your provider pays you out on its own schedule, under your contract with it.

Receipts that say what they are.

DiveHive's receipts are not tax invoices, and say so. Your official invoicing and tax stay with you and your accountant.

Everything in payments.

All of it is part of every edition, for every location, at no extra cost. Your provider's own fees are between you and your provider.

Questions shops ask about payments.

More in the FAQ, or write to hello@divehive.app.

Do you take a cut of my payments?

No. DiveHive takes 0% of every deposit, balance and refund. You pay a flat plan per location. Your payment provider charges its own fees under your contract with it.

Which payment providers can I use?

It depends on your country: Stripe where it is available, Xendit or PayMongo in Southeast Asia, and others as they are added. You connect your own account; the provider pays you directly.

Does the money pass through DiveHive?

No. Guests pay into your merchant account at your provider. DiveHive never holds funds and cannot move your money.

Who handles refunds and chargebacks?

You do, with your provider. DiveHive works out the refund from your cancellation rule and sends it through your provider when you confirm. Disputes are between you and the guest.

Does DiveHive issue official receipts or tax invoices?

No. DiveHive's receipts are clearly marked as not official. You issue official receipts and invoices from your own system, and the accounting sync helps your accountant do it.

Can I still take cash?

Yes. Record cash on the booking like any other payment. It shows up in the day's cash-up, next to what the drawer actually holds.

Deposits in your account before the boat leaves.
