Included in every edition

Your whole crew. No seat fees.

Office, instructors, guides, captains and crew, each with a role that fits the job. Freelancers work for several shops without double bookings, and every pro runs the day from one phone.

Join the waitlist as a shopFounding shops: free in the beta, then 50% off for 12 months, then 20% off for as long as you stay.

From the roster to the boat.

The planner sees who can do the job. The pro sees the job on the phone, at every shop they work for.

  1. Added

Invite staff by e-mail, or add a captain with only a phone number. Pick the role and what they can do.

  2. Assigned

The picker shows who is qualified, free and knows the site. Days off and other shops' work show as Unavailable.

  3. On the day

Staff mode on the phone: today's groups, check-in, gear, briefing remote and logs, working offline.

  4. On record

Every trip lands in the work log, with earnings statements per shop and verified history the pro keeps.

Roles

Roles that match the job.

A permission role says what someone may see and change: owner, admin, staff or viewer. Capabilities say what they can be assigned to: instructor, divemaster, guide, assistant, captain or crew. One person can hold several.

  • No account needed. A captain with only a phone number is still on the roster and on the trip.
  • Leaving means leaving. Deactivate someone and their access ends at once. Their own logbook stays theirs.
  • A PIN for the counter. Each person's 6-digit PIN on the shared tablet, so every action is logged by name.

Qualifications

Checked before the trip, not after.

Each pro's agency ratings, teaching status and expiry dates sit on their profile, and travel with them from shop to shop. Your shop confirms it has seen the card. The guide picker uses all of it.

  • Expiry reminders. Before a first-aid card or teaching status runs out, not on the day.
  • Courses need instructors. Only a pro with an active teaching status can lead a course.
  • Best match. Ranked by rating, availability and how well they know the site.

Cover

Sick at 05:40. Covered by 05:52.

A guide taps "Sick today" on the phone. DiveHive ranks who could take the trip, from your own staff to the freelancers in your cover pool, and sends the request. The first to accept gets the trip.

  • Your cover pool. Freelancers who said they are available for last-minute cover, without a paid seat.
  • Access for the trip only. A cover pro sees that trip's divers and nothing else of your shop.
  • No group chat at dawn. One request, ranked, answered with a tap.

Work log and earnings

A clear record of who worked what.

Every trip a pro works lands in their work log. Your rate cards turn it into an earnings statement for the period, so the end of the month is a check, not a hunt through chat history.

  • Your rates. Per dive, per trip, per course day or per night dive, per pro or per role.
  • Freelancers see it all. One combined view across every shop they work for, with an export for their own records.
  • A record, not a payslip. DiveHive pays nobody. You pay your team as you always have.

Free for every pro.

No seat fees.

Your plan is per location. Add every instructor, guide, captain and deckhand without paying more.

Pros keep their history.

Ratings, verified work history and their own logbook stay with the pro when they move to another shop.

What stays between shops.

A freelancer's other work shows as Unavailable. No shop sees where, why or for whom.

Everything in staff and pros.

All of it is part of every edition, for every location, at no extra cost. Pros never pay.

Questions shops ask about staff.

More in the FAQ, or write to hello@divehive.app.

Do I pay per staff member?

No. You pay a flat plan per location. Add as many staff and freelancers as you need. Pros never pay anything.

Our freelancers work for other shops too. What do we see?

When they are busy elsewhere or off, they show as Unavailable. You never see where, why or for whom, and the other shops never see your work either.

Our captain doesn't use a smartphone. Is that a problem?

No. Add the captain with a phone number only. They appear on trips, and you call or message them from the trip page.

Are earnings statements payslips?

No. They are an overview built from the work log and your rate cards. DiveHive pays nobody; you pay your team the way you always have, and both sides can export the record.

What happens when someone leaves?

Deactivate them and their access to your shop ends straight away. Their personal logbook, ratings and verified work history stay with them.

How does hiring work?

Post a job with a pay range. Pros apply with a CV built from their verified work history. Jobs never ask for age, gender, nationality or a photo. When you hire, the pro joins your staff in one step.

From the office to the boat, one roster.

Join the waitlist as a shop. Your staff and freelancers join free, on the phone they already have.
