Conservation log
Coral, threats, species and debris.
On any dive, divers and guides can note coral health, threats like crown-of-thorns, protected species and debris, with up to three photos per observation. Off by default, so normal logging stays as quick as ever.
- Sensitive species protected. Locations of vulnerable animals are kept coarse.
- Confirmed by the guide. Observations carry the guide's confirmation.
- Reef alerts. The shop hears when a threat is reported on its sites.

Impact
See what your dives add up to.
Divers collect an impact card from their cleanups and observations, and move from pledged to learned to active as responsible divers. Shops get a report of what their guests and guides did, ready to share.
- Non-divers too. Beach cleanups and activities are open to people who do not dive.
- Shop report. Debris removed, cleanups run and observations, per year.
- Donations go direct. Donate links lead straight to the organisation. DiveHive takes nothing.

Eco credentials
Credentials checked by the people who issue them.
Shops add their eco credentials and the issuing organisation confirms them on DiveHive. A verified credential shows on the shop's public page, and the shop's plan costs 10% less while it stays verified.
- On your public page. "Verified by" the issuer, not a self-declared badge.
- 10% off your plan. While verified. Like all discounts, the best single one applies.
- Stays current. When a credential lapses, the badge and discount go with it.
Reef watch
Heat stress and reef trends for the sites you dive.
Bleaching watch follows heat stress on your reefs from ocean data. Reef health trends come from what divers and guides log over time. For marine protected areas there are zones, rules and anonymous visitor counts.
- Guidance, not alarm. Watch, warning and alert levels, labelled as forecasts.
- Visitor counts stay anonymous. Shown only when at least five divers are counted.
- Gentle nudges. At most one conservation nudge a week, never during booking or check-in.

Does logging conservation data slow down a normal log?
No. The conservation log is off by default and only opens when you switch it on, or on a cleanup dive.
Who gets the observations?
The shop and the diver. Conservation partners receive them only when the diver agrees, in standard formats.
How does the 10% eco discount work?
Add your credential and the issuing organisation confirms it. While it is verified, your plan costs 10% less. Discounts never stack: the best single one applies.
Does DiveHive take a share of donations?
No. Donate links go directly to the organisation, and DiveHive takes nothing.
Which organisations work with DiveHive?
We will name partners here once agreements are signed. Until then we name none.
